I won my Pro card on September 13th 2008.  I will be competing with the Pro's in my first show on August 1st 2009. I am tired and my body is telling me so.  Actually it is my feet and shins!  LOL!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No it is really just that sometimes you need a break and I need one right now.  I probably should wait till next week since I am having lasik and probably wont want to do anything then either.....but today is the day and I will push through next week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other than that I have been spot on diet and training, however the weight is not moving...I look leaner, but the scale isnt saying I am!  O-well life goes on and the show is still over 2 months away! Today I am officially 12 weeks out or should I say 3 months out (kind of scares me with the smaller number!), from my first comp of the year!  I am feeling really confident!  This morning I weighed in at 136.5 and 12.8% BF.  I can for sure get down to my goal of 4-5% by May.  I have scrubbed the house and all the bad trigger foods are gone.  I kept my peanut butter, for those days that I just cant stand it anymore, but it is the good kind.....Naturally more with Flax oil.  I love this stuff it is &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;soooooo&lt;/span&gt; yummy 169 calories, 10 g of protein, 8 g of &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;carbs&lt;/span&gt;, but 4 of them are fiber!  So for 1 Tbsp it is 85 &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;cals&lt;/span&gt;, 5 g protein, and 4 (or 2 if you subtract the fiber) g of &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;carbs&lt;/span&gt;.   Not a bad cheat if you have to ease a craving!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today for me is &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;cardio&lt;/span&gt; only.  1/2 hour on the treadmill and another 1/2 hour on the stepper.   It will go by quick....then I need to focus on my posing routine.  I have had two songs mixed.  The first is Decode by &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;Paramore&lt;/span&gt; and the second is &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;Supergirl&lt;/span&gt; by Saving Jane.  I am not sure which I am going to use just yet.  I am required to do a 90 second posing routine now so I really need to work on this.  60 seconds seemed like forever now I have to fill another 30 seconds with poses!!! Been without it now for 3 days and I now realize that I am addicted to my computer and my online community of friends!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My day had a turn for the worse!  I was doing my chest workout finished doing decline &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;flys&lt;/span&gt;, worked my way over to the smith machine did all 5 sets of flat bench presses and even hit a personal record of 120lbs for six, and then I set up for incline presses, had 70lbs on the bar, lifted it up had no problem for three reps, then number four, and &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;whamoo&lt;/span&gt;!!!  A massive pain, not sure if it was a tear, a stretch, a bone going in the wrong direction or what but I &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;couldn't&lt;/span&gt; move for about 5 minutes.  I &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;couldn't&lt;/span&gt; even lift my head up!  It took everything I had to not ball my eyes out right there in the gym!  I managed to get up get changed, and call my chiropractor who got me in as soon as he could.  2:30 came and he advised me that I had torn a ligament on my C7 (whatever exactly that &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;meant&lt;/span&gt;), all I know is that he made it sound that the C7 was not a very good place to have out of whack!  So I was adjusted and told to ice it for 15 minutes every hour.  And to come back on Saturday.  I was also told that if it hurts or pulls at all to stop what I am doing and ice it.  So I am currently &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;de&lt;/span&gt;-&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;railed&lt;/span&gt;!  It is a good thing I am still over 14 weeks out!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Called Tony to let him know about it too, and he said he was posting a leg workout for me tomorrow so I can rest it, and let the muscles recover! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Okay enough sob story....it is bed time! I have been having really bad headaches and a stiff neck.  I only started to feel this way after I returned home from Vegas for a new years mini vacation.  I am sure it is just that I am overly tired, but it has really thrown off my day.  I am not one to complain, but I hate missing a workout or a meal......crazy I know but it is the honest to god truth!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am just over 20 weeks out from my first Pro level competition and I am really starting to freak out about it.  I know I will be ready, but the idea of actually flying and spending all that money to get to an event is making me focus more on being 100% and coming in, in the best shape I possibly can! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have added some muscle I know that, and because of the mass, I have added some weight......I know in Bodybuilding adding weight can be good, but it scares me, that it isnt the good solid quality muscle under that fat that I am hoping it to be! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am probably over analyzing everything but that is part of being a perfectionist....I want perfection!  That is why I am so "anal" about my diet and exercise plan.  I have to be 100% all the time or I feel I have failed. I am not sure exactly what it is, but I am not feeling happy.  I have no reason not to be happy, but I am not...and I am not sure why.  Maybe it is just the stress of work, the holiday, and not having my competition body right now.  I also had a bit of a set back with some vacation &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;arrangements&lt;/span&gt;, but those have since cleared up and eased some of my stress.  I probably just need a vacation!!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My competition season is quickly approaching and I am getting a bit nervous about that also.  I &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;dont&lt;/span&gt; know if I will be competing in the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;WNBF&lt;/span&gt; or the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;IFPA&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;organization&lt;/span&gt;.  It really sucks being a new PRO competitor and then being thrown the loop of changing organizations....especially since I &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;dont&lt;/span&gt; fully understand all this in the first place....my first competition ever was in October of 2007, then last year I competed nine times...with the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;NANBF&lt;/span&gt;, it &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;isnt&lt;/span&gt; like I ever relaxed enough to learn the in and outs of the organizations....I really feel lost.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was in control when I knew what was going on and what was expected of me, now I am lost and have no idea of what I need to do.....I am most likely over reacting, because that is just who I am, but I like to have everything planned out and organized...and right now I have no idea when my first &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;competition&lt;/span&gt; in 2009 will be....I think that is what is really weighing on me....not knowing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Okay enough ranting for today....I need to cook some healthy food and get myself back in the game...I know I am competing with &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;PRO's&lt;/span&gt; in 09, so I need to train and eat like a PRO!!!! I missed my workout, but at least I got all my Christmas shopping done!!  I did a lot of walking too, so I guess that accounts for something, right?  Well I am going to count it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I expected the shopping to be insane today but it &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;wasnt&lt;/span&gt;, thank god!!  I got everything on my must have list and then some, but at least I am finished....broke, but finished! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will be doing my missed workout tomorrow at some point in time...I also have to dig out and put up the Christmas tree and lights.....on top of cleaning the house and doing laundry...O the tasks never end!!  O-well I guess it keeps me busy and moving which helps to keep my &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;bodyfat&lt;/span&gt; down!  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;LOL&lt;/span&gt;!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hope everyone had a fantastic Turkey day....I sure did.  I ate way to much!!!  So for me it is back to 100% clean eating and workouts on Monday.  I am getting fluffy and I &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;dont&lt;/span&gt; want to get so fluffy that I need a whole new wardrobe!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Okay enough for today, I am beat!!! Plus there are only two more days in the workweek thank goodness!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not much substantial to say today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have shoulders at the gym today and I cant wait for that.  I really wish working out was my job...&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;wouldnt&lt;/span&gt; that be a dream.....maybe some day. I am so used to having a comp to prepare for that right now I have lost my motivation.  Well I have found it.  I am just over a month away from a girls trip to Vegas...so that is my new goal.  That is my motivation, to look good in Vegas!  Who wants to go to sin city looking fat....no we all want to go there looking hot and flawless...so there it is, there is, my new motivation!!!!
